Ed. note:
This update regards the
upcoming historic Continental Congress 2009 event
to be held later this year. As part of CC 2009,
delegates selected by the People from each of the
fifty states will convene to discuss the
Government’s ongoing violations of the
Constitution and strategies the People can employ
to peaceably curtail the abuse. Although these
violations have been widely debated for years, it
is the Government’s patent refusal to respond to
any and all First Amendment Petitions for Redress
that now compel the People to justly and actively
resist the tyranny.
We strongly encourage our readers to review
each of our
latest updates.
At a minimum, please be sure to read our “Summit
Call”
and “Line
in the Sand” web
articles
which provide a good overview of the
constitutional crisis and CC 2009
initiative.

This afternoon WTP Chairman Bob Schulz began a
two-month, 56-city meeting tour across the nation to
introduce the Continental Congress 2009 initiative
to the remainder of the fifty states and to continue the
process of organizing the People to support the
historic, and much needed, Continental Congress 2009
Liberty event. |

meeting schedule.
As
our supporters well know, our nation now finds itself in
the throes of numerous crises affecting our
Republic’s health and stability that have as their
root cause, direct violations of our Constitution.
Whether our focus is turned toward our foreign
military conflicts (started without congressional
Declarations of War), the social dysfunction arising
out of our Government’s refusal to enforce current
immigration law, or the economic and financial
maelstrom our nation (and planet) now face as a
certain outcome our Government’s unconstitutional
establishment of a privately-owned central
bank and a monetary system erected upon nothing but
a fiat, debt-based currency conjured into existence,
it is difficult to ignore the plain fact that our
nation, by tolerating and even encouraging
politically expedient violations of our
Constitution, has self-inflicted much of the pain
that We the People now suffer.
By our collective, de facto abandonment of
our Founding Principles, both the Republic and the
Liberty of the People are now at grave risk. But
there remains hope.
Continental Congress 2009 may be one of the last
remaining opportunities the People will have to
reawaken our fellowman, organize against the forces
aligned against us, and peacefully set forth to
restore Constitutional Order by reclaiming the
Founding Principles that have fallen dormant.
In short, it is past time for the People to rise up
and exercise their natural Right to hold their
servant government accountable. The Light of Liberty
will burn only as bright as there exists a yearning
in the hearts of the People to hold and experience,
within their own lives, the divine gift of Freedom.
Meeting Schedule "2.0"
We again encourage everyone to step up and
help bring CC2009 to the People of your state and to
help organize in defense of our Constitution.
Volunteers are needed to help arrange meeting
venues and to engage locally to promote the regional
meetings. If you can help arrange a venue, please contact
our venue coordinator Judith by email at
freedomstriumph@comcast.net
If you can help
promote the CC2009 initiative locally, please
contact your local WTP state coordinator.
Please review the full CC2009
meeting schedule.
It is updated regularly as venues are confirmed or
details change. Please remember that the more lead
time we have prior to a meeting, the more effective
our outreach efforts can be as we move to reach the
citizenry of the several states.

Organization
Rising
Although we have not broadcast many CC2009 updates
during the last few weeks since the conclusion of
Schulz’s first national tour, tremendous progress is
being quietly made in numerous areas to ensure the
success of the CC2009 initiative.
Thanks to a group of dedicated patriots who have
committed their valuable time to this project, Bob
Schulz has now assembled a well experienced project
management team consisting of approximately a dozen
professionals, each having responsibility over
different aspects of the CC2009 project, including
public communications, technology, logistics
planning, Coordinator management, outreach and fund
raising.
The
team is currently preparing a number of
deliverables, tools and capabilities that will
enable our entire organization to step up and
effectively meet the significant challenges brought
by the Continental Congress project.
The
range of efforts to be announced during the coming
weeks include new details and enhancements regarding
the Delegate selection and review process, new
automated tools and capabilities for WTP Congress
Coordinators, an integrated on-line bulletin-board
system to encourage multiple public CC2009
discussion threads (state by state) as well as an
online progress/feedback system to help coordinate
state executed work tasks in support of the
project. We are also beginning to prepare
capabilities and detailed instructions to take
advantage of some of the Internet’s most effective
and exciting new public outreach technologies.
A
new series of educational products such as press
releases, videos, flyers, etc. is working its way
through our design and development “pipeline”. We
will soon release a donation system enhancement that
will enable donors to direct their tax-deductible
CC2009 Foundation donations to specifically support
their own state CC2009 Delegate team or the primary
“HQ” project account. In this way, donations from a
given state can remain available for local use
within the state, helping directly fund both local
CC2009 outreach efforts as well as to help
underwrite, as needed, the travel/lodging costs of
sending the state Delegation to the multi-week
CC2009 event.
All
said, the WTP Foundation and WTP Congress are making
significant strides on their way to effectively
managing the CC2009 initiative and giving the WTP
Coordinators, team members and project volunteers
the tools, information, and resources necessary to
ignite widespread public consciousness regarding the
escalating constitutional crisis and our efforts to
finally hold the Government accountable for its
violations of the People’s Rights and Liberties.
With your help,
the Light of Liberty is about to burn brightly once
again.
Please check the
meeting schedule for additional details
and local WTP contacts.
Thank you for
your
generous support.
Please remember that your tax-deductible donations are the sole
source of funding the Foundation's Continental Congress 2009
project work.
