Today, while preparing to meet with some of America’s “Brave and Wealthy” who requested a face-to-face meeting, Bob Schulz was advised by the State Coordinator, “Be prepared to discuss potential return on investment (ROI).”

What is the “ROI” when it comes to financing a Continental Congress for America?  Social and personal recognition?  Personal economic benefits and rewards?  Practical outcomes such as better governance or an enhanced economic environment?   

We believe the funding of CC2009 runs along a much deeper vein. 

In the end, it is the SPIRITUAL “IDEA” behind this historic event that is ultimately at stake: our Liberty, mankind’s Liberty, the evolution of Brotherhood, the Eternal Rights of each individual to be Free. 

The dividends from this idea – its support, progress and protection - are priceless. 

Any discussion of ROI in this matter therefore raises provocative philosophical and spiritual questions that are virtually unavoidable when considering the righteous stewardship of wealth. 

We believe Continental Congress 2009 is a profound solution for the cancer that is consuming America.  Liberty is Her SOUL.  

An "investment" in CC2009 is nothing less than a joint-venture to manifest the intent of The Creator, who acted through our Founding Fathers, to bring us the greatest governing documents ever given to mankind.  

Wealth indeed poses unique burdens and opportunities, both in life and for the Soul. 

With this in mind, here is where we landed with regard to ROI: 


Spiritual ROI:

Resistance to tyrants is obedience to God.”  Thomas Jefferson

Is it possible The Creator, in His Grand Design, has shared His Earthly bounty with some to such an extent, that those who are so given might fulfill a Higher Purpose, using such Abundance to secure a greater good – for all?

What is the ultimate moral, utilitarian and spiritual purpose of wealth if not to manifest and propagate the unalienable Gifts of The Creator? What other just purpose can earthly wealth serve?  What other just purpose can life itself righteously serve? 

In the ultimate reality of the life-path of the Soul, are opportunities such as a Continental Congress actually “tests” where those who can discern a Higher Order have an opportunity while in human form, to consider an invitation from the Divine to assist and bring forth a significant aspect of Heaven to the children of The Creator?

Is this invitation to restore the Light of Liberty through Continental Congress 2009 essentially the same invitation discerned and embraced by our Founders some two centuries ago?

Might there be spiritual reward for the bold Souls that seek and dare to advance the Design of Providence and resist the illusions of temporary earthly “achievements?”

Is there a spiritual consequence for those few humans, so blessed in Abundance by the measures of earthly “wealth,” should they ignore an opportunity to help bring forth the Light of Liberty? 

Is the just and judicious stewardship of wealth itself a spiritual test?  Is such stewardship both an earthly Blessing and a spiritual challenge?  

Given that our Founding documents boldly declare the profound fundamental Principle that Life experienced within the framework and grace of “Liberty” is the intended state of existence for all of the Creator’s children, can its practical loss or value even be measured?

Is there any “price” too high to secure that which is Divine?

Can one idea change the world?


Can one man change the world?

Am I one of those men?
 


WHAT IS THE AUTHORITY OF THE PEOPLE?

Recently, it was said by one of America’s freedom movement commentators in reference to Continental Congress 2009, “I’m sorry, but I don’t support this latest talk fest. The so called ‘delegates’ have NO authority to do anything.”

The blog columnist baldly suggests the people have no authority to enforce their Creator-endowed, Constitution-guaranteed Rights, no authority to instruct the Congress to end violations of our Constitution or other forms of oppression, and possess no authority to take actions against the government even if that government refuses to respond to the People’s First Amendment Petitions to Remedy violations of the Constitution, or to otherwise be held accountable to the Constitution.

We ask YOU.  What do these words mean then, upon which these United States of America were established:

“That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, that whenever any form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it …” Declaration of Independence.

“We the People …do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.” Preamble, Constitution of the United States of America

“The enumeration in the Constitution of certain rights shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the People.” Ninth Amendment, Constitution of the United States of America.

“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the People.” Tenth Amendment, Constitution of the United States of America.

“If money is wanted by Rulers who have in any manner oppressed the People, they may retain it until their grievances are redressed, and thus peaceably procure relief, without trusting to despised petitions or disturbing the public tranquility.”  Continental Congress, 1774.

“The privilege of giving or withholding our monies is an important barrier against the undue exertion of prerogative which if left altogether without control may be exercised to our great oppression; and all history shows how efficacious its intercession for redress of grievances and reestablishment of Rights, and how improvident would be the surrender of so powerful a mediator.”  Thomas Jefferson to Lord North, 1775

“In every stage of these Oppressions we have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury.  A Prince whose Character is thus marked by every act which would define a Tyrant is unfit to be the ruler of a free People.” Declaration of Independence, 1776.

“[Art.] 10. [Right of Revolution.] Government being instituted for the common benefit, protection, and security, of the whole community, and not for the private interest or emolument of any one man, family, or class of men; therefore, whenever the ends of government are perverted, and public liberty manifestly endangered, and all other means of redress are ineffectual, the people may, and of right ought to reform the old, or establish a new government. The doctrine of nonresistance against arbitrary power, and oppression, is absurd, slavish, and destructive of the good and happiness of mankind.” New Hampshire Constitution, June 2, 1784

“(61) SINCE WE HAVE GRANTED ALL THESE THINGS for God, for the better ordering of our kingdom, and to allay the discord that has arisen between us and our barons, and since we desire that they shall be enjoyed in their entirety, with lasting strength, forever, we give and grant to the barons the following security:

“The barons shall elect twenty-five of their number to keep, and cause to be observed with all their might, the peace and liberties granted and confirmed to them by this charter.

“If we, our chief justice, our officials, or any of our servants offend in any respect against any man, or transgress any of the articles of the peace or of this security, and the offence is made known to four of the said twenty-five barons, they shall come to us - or in our absence from the kingdom to the chief justice - to declare it and claim immediate redress. Talk Fest?

Make no mistake: Continental Congress 2009 will be no “talk-fest.” 

The Delegates of Continental Congress 2009 will be poised to begin the practical expression and exercise of the Right of Popular Sovereignty to save our Republic. 

It is likely that we will see innovative and stirring expressions of this Fundamental Right:

INSTRUCTIONS to Congress to end and reverse specific violations of our Constitution’s money, war, tax, privacy, property, natural born citizen, faithfully execute, general welfare and other clauses.

INSTRUCTIONS to the State Legislatures to adopt specific legislation to bring the States into compliance with the Constitution of the United States of America, and to otherwise support the People’s challenge to the central government;

A COURSE OF ACTION for the FREE People to take to directly enforce their Rights, Freedoms and Liberties.  
 

THE TIME IS NOW

This very weekend, we enter into a critical defining moment which will determine our ability to take the next steps.  For us to meet our contractual deadlines and convene CC2009 on November 8, we need to make a third down payment this week of $80,000 to Pheasant Run to cover delegate rooms and meals; confirm hire of a suitable vendor to live web stream the event, now estimated at a minimum of $230,000; confirm hire of a parliamentarian for $11,000 and other related services.  There is also the matter of outreach through paid publicity so Americans know what is taking place and their part in it. 

We have asked provocative philosophical and spiritual questions pertaining to the righteous stewardship of wealth as it relates to the Cause of Liberty.

Money is needed NOW for us to move forward.
