NFL, NOT.
No One Is Enforcing America’s “Rule Book”
Reminder: Freedom Rising Webinar This Sunday
Dollars to donuts, neither you, any of the 100,000
fans in the stadium on Super Bowl Sunday, nor but a
few of the tens of millions who will be watching the
game on their televisions have ever seen, much less
read, the official
NFL Rule Book.
However, as the game clock ticks down you and they
will cry out as a great collective with every
witnessed violation of that Rule Book. From the
stadium great roars for justice will arise from
those who instinctively know a rule has been
broken.
What then? The NFL Rule Book is enforced. The
enforcers, donned in black and white, announce the
specific violations and then penalize the group that
violated the Rule Book.
The contest on the field of play pits one group
against another, laboriously striving to gain more
ground than the other. As one side gains ground, the
other loses ground. It’s axiomatic. It’s the
essential nature of the confrontation. However
fleeting, the prize is well-earned bragging rights,
money and fame.
There exists, however, another contest in America,
with far more at stake, and which continues each and
every day. This fierce confrontation as well, plays
out between two opposing and most determined sides:
the “Free” and the “Government”, each seeking to
gain ground from the other. As Government gains
ground, Freedom must lose ground, like night follows
day. It’s axiomatic. It’s the essential nature of
the confrontation. The prize: enslavement of a
servant people or Liberty and a servant government.
The winner takes all.
Unfortunately, very few Americans have ever read the
“National” Rule Book (i.e., the
U.S. Constitution) much less their
“State” Rule Book (i.e.,
State Constitutions). Fewer still have a
functional understanding of the history, meaning,
effect and significance of each provision and how it
affects and protects their Liberty.
The good news is that whether from the field or the
bleachers, the Free and their supporters
instinctively know a violation of the Constitution
when they see it. They may not be able to cite the
exact “Rule”, but their instinct will impulsively
cause them to rise, and to cry out their collective
hurt and discontent.
So what happens next?
NOTHING!
Unlike the NFL, there are no persons appointed to
officially enforce our Rule Books – i.e., our
Constitutions. Oh sure, there are the minions with
big guns, shiny badges, pepper spray and robes, but
the problem is they all work for Team Government.
This then is the essential Truth; the Constitutions
that define our Rule of Law cannot defend themselves
against those in Government who ignore and violate
them. Neither Government officials nor the media
conglomerates like opposition from any quarter.
Ditto for many corporations, lobbyists and
financiers who scheme without end to operate in a
lawless realm.
The Rule of Law, under which this “Nation Under God”
and Liberty are designed to co-exist, will not
be enforced unless We the Free People of America
enforce it.
Listen to Jefferson’s warning, “The People are the
only sure reliance for the preservation of our
Liberties.”
Organization Is Key
It should be of no surprise that Individuals and
small groups cannot, and have effectively failed to
enforce the Rule of Law, from their State and
Federal Constitutions on down, against violations by
local, state and federal government officials.
If the Free are to prevail in securing Freedom and
Liberty, a mass-movement of, by and for the Free is
required to enforce the Rules: nation-wide,
pro-active, non-violent, non-political,
non-partisan, intelligent and rational in approach.
Organization is essential. Leadership is vital.
Resources are critical.
Getting started is indispensible.
We have a Plan and have developed a set of tools to
make the task of organizing for Liberty easier,
performable, attainable, facile and
delightful.
